Coney Catcher 2

Coney Catcher 2 is the benchmark in ferreting films. Made in the early 90's, professional rabbit catcher, Phil Lloyd tackles a rabbit clearance job on a Hampshire stud farm, showing poke and purse nets and plenty of digging.

Then the team move to Yorkshire where the viewer meets Phil's friends and see his cattle cross lurcher 'Speckle' and a red merle collie greyhound catching bolted rabbits. In between the viewer has a rare chance to experience 'Hoop' snaring by the master Glenn Waters when Phil visits him in Mid Lothian, Scotland.

"I've seen a lot of pretenders in this game and normally toss other rabbiting DVD's away, but Coney Catcher 2 always remains by my TV and those who know me will know I am not easily impressed, so it MUST BE GOOD for me to keep it!" Frank Sherred, Ferreter and Rabbit catcher, November 2008.

Running time: 80 minutes approxiately.
